It's almost summer -- do you know where your kids' camp is?

Looking for a sports-related summer camp for children in North Dade or Miami Beach? There are many sports-specific camps from which to choose:

AQUATICS

  • Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center. For members only. Offered at MAR-JCC, 18900 NE 25th Ave. Weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 17-Aug. 9. Students must be proficient swimmers. Diving, jet skiing, sailing and water basketball are among activities offered. Grades 2-7. Cost is $790 for four weeks, and $1,360 for eight weeks. A junior aquatics camp is also being offered for youngsters ages 4, 5 and 6 on the same dates for same prices. Call 932-4200 (ext. 147), weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • City of North Miami, Gribble Pool, 13150 NE Eighth Ave. Weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 12-23. Ages 10-15. Students must know how to swim. Snorkeling and basic water skills are taught. On the last day of camp, students are taken to John Pennekamp Park to snorkel. Cost is $85 for residents, $145 for nonresidents. Call 893-6511, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    BASEBALL

  • YMCA in Hialeah, Hialeah-Miami Lakes and North Dade. July-August. Ages 4-12. Games played Saturday mornings at various sites. Cost is $55 for members, $60 for nonmembers. Call 899-9622 (North Dade); 822-1670 (Hialeah-Miami Lakes); 825-9622 (Hialeah), weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • City of Hialeah. June 10-August. Ages 6-15. Games played weeknights at several locations in Hialeah. Cost is $10 for residents. Call 687-2671, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • City of Miami Beach. June 17-Aug. 9 in two-week sessions. Ages 7-14. Games at Flamingo Park, 1400 Michigan Ave. $150 for two weeks. Call 673-7730, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    GOLF

  • Greynolds Park golf camp. Offered at Greynolds, 17530 W. Dixie Hwy. June 24-Aug. 9, weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Ages 8-16. Cost is $130 for five-day sessions. Participants receive video analysis of their swing, lunch and the chance to play daily. Call 949-2212, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

    Also, Greynolds offers a half-golf/half-tennis camp. Golf is offered at Greynolds. The tennis camp is offered at Ives Tennis Center, 1475 Ives Dairy Rd. Tennis from 9 a.m. to noon, and transportation is provided to Greynolds, where golf is offered until 4 p.m. June 24-Aug. 9. Cost is $140 for a five-day session.     GYMNASTICS

  • Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center. Must be member. Offered at MAR-JCC, 18900 NE 25th Ave. June 17-Aug. 9, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For beginners or serious gymnasts. Students entering kindergarten to sixth grade. Cost is $765 for four weeks, or $1,260 for eight weeks. Call 932-4200 (ext. 127), weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • City of North Miami. Offered at North Miami Armory, 13250 NE Eighth Ave. June 17-Aug. 8, and Aug. 12-Sept. 5. Offered Monday through Thursday in afternoon hours. Ages 3-18. Cost ranges from $30 to $105. Call 893-6511, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    HOCKEY

  • City of Miami Beach. Offered at Scott Rakow Youth Center, 2700 Sheridan Ave. June 17-Aug. 9. Ages 7-14. Cost $150 per week. Call 673-7730, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Figure skating also offered.

    SOFTBALL (FOR GIRLS)

Also includes swimming and basketball. June 17-Aug. 9 weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Ages 8 to 15. Cost is $790 for four weeks, $1,360 for eight weeks (includes lunch).

    Also, a separate program called Rookies is offered, featuring tennis from 9 a.m. to noon and other sports, such as swimming, after lunch until 4 p.m. Ages 6 to 10. Cost is $790 for four weeks, $1,360 for eight weeks.

    There is also a traveling tennis camp that provides transportation for players to participate in various tournaments. Ages 10-15. Camp is $815 for four weeks, $1,495 for eight weeks. Call 932-4200 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Sans Souci, 1795 Sans Souci Blvd. Includes instruction, match play and a pizza party once a week. Weekdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 18-Aug. 24. Ages 5 to 15. $95 per week. Call 893-7130, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

  • City of Miami Beach. Offered at Flamingo, 11th and Jefferson, and North Shore, 350 73rd Ave. June 17-Aug. 9. Ages 6-14. Cost $100 a week. Call 673-7730, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
