The Haitian Art Factory, 835 NE 79th St., carries a variety of Haitian art, from handmade key chains, stone statuettes, gifts and a large selection of paintings by Haiti's most known painters, such as Frank Louissaint, Ernst Louizor, Lyonel Laurenceau, Jean-Claude Legagneur, among others.

The gallery is owned by Gislaine Rameau Bastien, an artist who works primarily in floral design, especially with silk and fresh flowers.

It is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, or by appointment. Call 758-6939.
