Magical Mother'sDay
New arrivals make it a
momentous for new moms

Throughout South Florida, scores of moms, both new and veterans, are spending Mother's Day rejoicing and recuperating from childbirth. Maybe that is why Mother's Day comes in May: It's the start of the baby season.

Doggone it! License your dog!

Dade County is going to the dogs, or at least after owners who don't license their pooches. In three years, tickets issued to owners of unlicensed dogs have more than tripled, and fine collections have increased tenfold.
