DANIA

'95 Olds taken: A thief stole a rented 1995 Oldsmobile Ciera from a parking lot in the 400 block of Southeast Third Street between 11 p.m. April 18 and 8:30 a.m. April 19. The value of the vehicle was not determined at the time of the report.

HALLANDALE

Car taken in robbery: A robber brandishing a shotgun took a man's 1996 Buick Regal and $40 outside the 7-Eleven at 747 W. Hallandale Beach Blvd. at about 2:41 a.m. May 2. The victim told police he started his car, then the robber and an accomplice drove up next to him. He said the robber pointed the shotgun at him. When the man ran to the front of his car, the robber again pointed the gun and demanded money. After the man handed over the cash, the robber drove off in the man's car. The accomplice followed the robber in the other car.

Car stolen: A thief stole a 1995 Pontiac Grand Am from a woman who had left her keys in the ignition while paying for gasoline at the Amoco filling station at 990 W. Hallandale Beach Blvd. at about 10:30 p.m. May 1. Another patron told her he saw two young men jump into the car and drive off.

HOLLYWOOD

Armed robbery: A thief took a woman's purse in a parking lot at Oakwood Plaza shopping center, 3911 Oakwood Blvd., at about 11:57 a.m. April 22. She told police the robber drove up next to her 1988 BMW sedan and pulled her door open when she tried to close it. He pointed a gun at her face and demanded the purse. She said the purse contained a cellular telephone. The value of the phone was not determined at the time of the report.

PEMBROKE PARK

Attempted burglary: Someone broke into the screened back porch of a home in the 5100 block of Southwest 25th Court between 3:30 and 4 p.m. April 6 and entered through a sliding-glass door. Nothing was taken.

UNINCORPORATED SOUTH BROWARD

Coins stolen: A thief broke a window of a 1987 Ford van in the 5300 block of Southwest 21st Street between 8:30 p.m. April 18 and 7 a.m. April 19 and took about $6 in coins and a pair of eyeglasses from the center console.
